Elder Fuller Tales

  This week felt like world War 1, but it's us against the Devil. The devil exercised all his power this week to drag is down. He didn't drag us down... he dragged our friends down. Luckily nothing can stop this work from progressing, so I'm Aok. Zulie and Georgina were our 2 friends that were planned to get baptized yesterday... Sadly the Devil had other plans. We couldn't pass by her house at all to teach, see, or help her. She takes care of Older people, and she happened to pick up another Shift all day, every day. Luckily we figured that out on Monday of last week, so it really didn't stress us out. Zulie on the other hand, Her poor little heart. We had the baptismal Interview with her on Friday, and she passed flawlessly. We needed to note down more information before the baptism (Fill out the Form).   Elder Shill and I literally got friend zoned on the mission, at least that's what it felt like. All thanks to David.   If you don't know who David is, here's. Little background. He's one of the 4 active members here in Las Varillas. His mom died about 10 years ago, which caused his life to turn around 180°. Dad did some bad stuff, sisters left the church, family didn't want to see one another. Let's just sum it all up as, inside He's really depressed Physically, emotionally, and intelligently, but outside, like a 36 year old Jokester(I think). He's the only person that helps the missionarys with their friends and tasks. Without him, the Branch would not exist. But his favorite thing if the world is to help the missionarys. But this past week, he was letting his depression show. Not energetic, easly agrovated, and really annoyed at everything we would do. And you could see the pain and tiredness in his soul.   ¿Como andan la gente? I hope everything Is well with you all! This week was Impresionante, with all the miracles and events that we saw.  Ustedes Son Mormones ? This week was full of people asking us if we were Mormons. As missionarys, we only use the name of the church, "The Church Of JesusChrist Of Latter Day Saints", and we avoide using the nickname Mormons! When someone hears the word Mormon here, it sounds like it's a cult of the dark arts, and everybody here believes it. When we find someone to teach, and they get taught for a while, when they hear we are the Mormon Missionaries, There goes everything. All of the converts that Elder Shill and I have baptized, don't even know there Mormons. If they did, who knows if they ever go back to church.
