Los Mormones

 ¿Como andan la gente? I hope everything Is well with you all! This week was Impresionante, with all the miracles and events that we saw. 


Ustedes Son Mormones?
This week was full of people asking us if we were Mormons. As missionarys, we only use the name of the church, "The Church Of JesusChrist Of Latter Day Saints", and we avoide using the nickname Mormons! When someone hears the word Mormon here, it sounds like it's a cult of the dark arts, and everybody here believes it. When we find someone to teach, and they get taught for a while, when they hear we are the Mormon Missionaries, There goes everything. All of the converts that Elder Shill and I have baptized, don't even know there Mormons. If they did, who knows if they ever go back to church. The Mormon hate here in Argentina is crazy and very real!



We had a friend Maximiliano invite us inside his house to learn about christ. We willingly accepted and started off with a prayer, we taught with the spirit (Alll 3 of us felt it), he was paying a lot of attention, and he even accepted a date to get baptized. We invited him to read the pamphlet (We ran out of BOM) and that we will talk about it more tomorrow! Later that night he texted us that he read the pamphlet, but he read the last page as well, which says "If you want to learn more about the church visit Mormon.org" he said that he dosent have interest anymore because we are Mormons.

This week was also mainly door knocking, we knocked on this one house and a lady opened up the door with the maddest face I have ever seen. She asked us if we were Mormons, we said, yeah but that's only a nickname for the church, our real name is the Church of Jesuschrist Of Latter Day Saints. She then instantly yelled at the top of her lungs "You guys arnt a church, you guys arnt a Religion, you guys arnt a sect, you guys are a cult that worships the devil!" I said "Where'd you get that information?" She then raged and attempted to toss coke on our white shirts, luckly she had horrible aim. We still invited her to church!!


Miracles
🕊 -Gisel went to church! we contacted her Sunday morning in the street, and since we didn't have time, we just invited her, she didn't seem interested for nothing. Turns out she came, and now wants to come every week!
🕊- Luis Grumelli (My convert) started helping us with lessons, and taking people to church
🕊- Georgina and Zulie are getting ready to be baptized on the 10th, and the 17th
🕊-Isabel Grumelli, (My Convert) had a heart attack, but she is still alive and moving
🕊-Our breakfast was on Oferta, so we bought the store out of stock
🕊-we have 3 different people named Carina in teaching

How strong is your testimony?

Witches, Dark Spirits and Jesus's Girlfriend

  This week was full of surprises! We ran into some witches, dark Spirits, and even the girlfriend of Jesuschrist!  Witches We're teaching this family right now of witches! We passed by with David (overpowered member) to see if these people have interest. During the lesson, David whispered to us that they are a family full of witches! We were a little confused, because David has nevr met this family in his life! We shrugged that phrase off and scheduled another appointment! The next time we passed, she asked us to see her magic broomstick!!! She was also cooking up some stew, that was literally neon green, and smoking! Definently a Witch, David was right. Sleepy Times!

  Buen Día! How are all of you people? I hope your all doing well. This week was pretty exciting. Had a lot of things happen that made me find a lot of joy in doing this work. This week we invited everyone to baptism sin miedo (without fear). Because of this we saw the fruits of invitations. We put 7 fechas this week. 6 for the 23rd, and 1 for the 2nd. But sadly everybody is unperfect. Only 3 of the fechas pulled up to church. That means we have to take off all the fechas that didnt go to church. One Fecha named Gabriel, is getting baptized in a river. Sadly he asked my comp to perform the ordinance. That means I don't get to bap in a river.the planning for it goes crazy! We have to scout a spot, find a spot to change, what members want to drive 30 minutes for the baptism. The other 2 are little kids. We get to baptize them on Sunday in a font.
