Rodrigos Bap'd

Image
ow are we all doing? I hope your all doing good. This week was a good one. So let's hop into it Baptism of Rodrigo This week we had the opportunity to baptize Rodrigo. He's was in teaching for a couple weeks. He would have gotten baptized sooner, but he had a problem with cigarettes. His story is very cool, and interesting. A long time ago, Rodrigo came to church out of the blue. He was taught by my last companion Elder Jacobs, and the last missionary that was here. Elder Reano. When they taught him about Joseph Smith, he yelled and called our church a satanic church. So... the Elders stopped teaching him. A couple weeks ago, he showed up to church again out if the blue. He told us he read the Book of Mormon and wanted to get baptized.  His next goal is the Temple, that's his biggest desire! Get Dunked on!! Here comes more Basketball. We are playing a lot of basketball this past weeks, and it's all been a blast. And I have lowkey been popping off. Every Wednesday nigh...

Elder Costas in Town

Hey everybody, how are you doing? I hope.you guys have had a great week! This week, not much happened.  Elder Costa We had zone conference this weekend and we had a special guest. Elder Costa from the 70. I had the opportunity to go to a couple reunions with him. I went to a leadership conference, and normal conference.  Elder Costa is awesome. He pulled up to these meetings and conferences without anything planned. He just started talking. It Just shows how much hes with the spirit, and how important it it with missionarys! This guys scripture knowledge is elite, he pulls verses out of his back pocket. like a magician. I was in the leadership conference, and every question a leader asked, he instantly said a scripture. The main thing he talked about was our testimony about Joseph Smith, and that how we need to like forward with an eye of faith. He invited us to look and imagine everybody in the street in white, not white in baptism, but white for the temple! The best p...

How are we all doing? I hope you are all having a good Monday, and also a good 2026! This week much didnt happen, but the few things that did happen were awesome! Im famous, thanks to basketball . Every Wednesday we play basketball at the church! Its a weekly activity, for whoever wants to come. Its normally only friends and 2 members. There's always more then 20 people. We separate into teams of 4 and then we play every team once. It was our last game of the night, and I was cooking! I made a couple 3's and a tough layup. The layup I hit was on Elder Anderson ( A missionary that's not my comp) so of course I had to hit him with the to little. Afterwards I got the ball again, and they gave me an open lane to dunk it. As I drove and jumped to dunk, a famous basketball instagramer (the most famous in Córdoba) spawned in, and blocked my dunk... I went to congratulate him, you know be all loving and kind. Afterwards I didnt think much of it. Until we made it to a members house...

New Year Angry Gone

Whats Up everybody! How have you guys been? I hope everything is going well! Today I have more energy, so you will problably get a better looking email! Yulian We got the opportunity to baptize Yulian. Yulian is a freaking Goat! His grandma gor baptized about a year ago, and we've been trying to get his parents to let him get baptized, but they weren't budging. One sunday we went to church and sadly he was the only friend of ours that showed up. We were a little bummed that all our friends that were invited didn't show up. After the meeting his grandma came up to us and said that she got herself daughters permission to baptize him. We were absolutly ecstatic! He got baptized a week later! New Years My last new year on the mission... I have officially spent all of 2025 in Argentina. Its crazy to think that I have been here already for 17-18ish months. Kids your parents were right when they said the mission goes by fast. We had a gigantic party with some members in the ward...

Cheers to 2025

Its crazy that I spent all of 2025 in Argentina.  Sorry for last week, i didnt really have the time to send an email, soooo...  Merry Christmas Also happy New year! This past year I have really learned a lot, not only about me but about Christ and his Glorious work. One of my favorite parts about the mission, is the opportunity we get to develop christlike attributes! A big opportunity I had was going to the sealing of my first converts! It was wonderful going and seeing all of the people I used to visit when I got to the mission! I will always remember this wonderful expirience! Transfers came as well. I am currently a district leader in the same area. My companion Elder Jacobs left to go be zone leader. I received Elder Ivins. He's got about 6 months in the mission. He's honestly a goat, and he is from Utah. Thanks everybody for reading, im Sorry that this email was pretty boring. But in am super tired, and dont really have a ton of energy (I partyed hard last night) ...
