2 Weeks Left
The weeks are getting faster. Waking up at 6:30 feels sort of normal. This is the longest I have been without family. Lowkey crazy to think about
Tuesday was awesome. It was our P-day, and when it is P-day you get to go to the temple. We got to do endowments in the temple. Most everybody fell asleep because they couldn't understand what the video was saying. Also having to talk in Spanish after was cool. We also checked out the visitor center. Never seen a visitor center that big before. There's so many cool colorful rooms. It was like walking through a museum. We also found a hidden store in a hole in the wall. Bought some cool trinkets. We also watched a live devotional of Uchtdorf talking at the provo MTC.
Wednesday was sad. Our Spanish teacher was leaving because she had family problems at home. We didn't find out till our Spanish class later that night. We had a sub named Hermano Hernandez. He is not what we are used to. My district thinks he is a bit fruity but we don't really mind. Dinner that night was crazy. We had chicken sandwiches and everybody ate 2 of them but me. Lucky me, everybody who ate 2 were feeling super sick and were stuck on the toilet for the rest of the night. Running in and out of Spanish class the whole time.
Thursday was weird. I got that 3am motivation to start doing a bunch of pushups and start eating a lot to get bigger. Only lasted for about 2 days. We got tacos al pastor for lunch and I activated my taco stand body, and ate 8 of them. Elder Carter and Elder Daines while playing ultimate Frisbee both went for the Same catch. And dead sprinted into each other. It looked painful but everybody was laughing they got up and kept playing. My companion also through a crazy pass and doinked a latino right in the eye. His eye was swelling super big and was bleeding, he was cool and ran off
On Friday all of my district could not stop farting. So we play bear. It's this game where if you fart and somebody calls bear before the person that farted says no bear, they have to get on all 4's and road like a bear. Wherever they are. Also there were these bomb firework things going off every 30 minutes. No clue why, but everybody is freaking out because they think somebody is gonna break in.
Saturday, the only thing that stood out was our helping others activity. We got to teach in person a family of 3. It was a single mom with 2 little boys. We taught them about the commandments we make with god after baptism. They really enjoyed the lesson. And it was a cool experience overall. It made me excited to teach actual people.
Sunday was like every other Sunday. go to church, then priesthood class, and lastly Go and Do. The cool thing is we had a devotional of a video of a talk you can only see in the MTC. It was about the power of Joy in our mission and missionary purpose. Took some good notes and learned a lot of cool new things.
Monday was super gloomy. Because of the Rain. It was pouring all day. For gym time we decides to play outdoor basketball in the Rain. We were soaked, people were slipping everywhere and ankles were being snatched. Every time you shot the Ball a gust of Wind would push the Ball making you airball every time. We also finished preach my gospel class, so now we have 2 Spanish classes.
