Christmas Time is Here

Dang this week was a rollercoaster. It was a mix of partys and hard work, with a few baptisms as well. We had our christmas conference, 2 baptisms, and Tranfers. Your also probably wondering why this email came today and not yesterday. That is because of Transfers. Since transfers is today they moved Pday to today. My pday will return back to monday next week.

Christmas for all the missionarys came early. For those of you who dont know, Christmas conference is literally Christmas for missionarys. You eat a big dinner, get a few presents, and celebrate Christ's Birth. Sure the 25th is still technically Christmas, But all missionarys think of Christmas confernece as Christmas Day. The conference went something like this. We started off with breakfast, when we got there it was a madhouse. The AP's didn't buy enough breakfast for everyone. So half the missionarys didn't eat. After breakfast we all took out seats and listened to the lessons the president had prepared for us. After 2 and a half hours of studying and taking notes, the fun began. We started off with an amazing lunch, It was steak and rice. It also had unlimited Pritty. I ate so much, I felt like I was going to explode. Definitely was on the toilet for an hour once we got home. After we ate and cleaned up, we had the talent show. Each zone had to prepare a talent to perform for everybody. We chose to sing a Philippine Christmas song. To be honest we cooked, our talent was by far the best. If you wanna watch theres a live stream of the whole talent show on facebook. Heres the link to watch it

Copy and paste that bad boy in and you can watch all the talents. If you want to only watch my zone, skip ahead to the minute 27:15. After the talents we had THE MOSH PIT. Everybody started moshing, felt like I was back in a highschool dance. After our dance party we had the gift exchange. For my gift I bought a AFC hat, which is for Elder Tzarax. I received a AFC mug and a tec dec. After the gifts they sent us all home to get back and start Grinding for the Baptisms.

Speaking of baptisms we had 2 of them, Eziquiel and Bianca. I got to baptize Bianca while my comp baptized Eziquiel. More about the baptism in the Saturday paragraph. Lets get into my week shall we.

Monday: started off strong with still being sick, you probly forgot. But today wasnt that bad. Having the ability to talk to your parents and lay in bed all day is amazing. We did leave the house to get groomed up. We went to the Castillos to get our hair cut. I went first and when he finished it looked nothing like how I wanted it. Luckly its grown back out since then. Later in the night I attempted to sow a button back onto my suit. The worst part was trying to get the string through the eye on the needle. I hate needles. Eventually got it through. While I was sowing I stabbed myself in the finger 3 times in a row. My mom started laughing over the phone.

Tuesday: I love working in ovens. It was toasty in the street today. Sweating every secound. We had a marriage today too. Eziquiel and Bianca. We got to chat with all their family and munch on a few snacks. Later that day we got a call from our ZL's saying that president Zanni our mission president wanted us to postpone the Baptism of Eziquiel and Bianca till the ne,t Saturday. Maia totally ignored the Pres and we baptized them anyway.

Wednesday: walked a lot. We walked to Santa Maria and back. Walked again later back to Santa Maria, took a Taxi home, then walked back there again at the end of the day. What a planning session we had. And to be honest it was all Maia who planned it. To add onto all the walking, we walked an hour and 40 minutes to the hotel we were staying at for Christmas Conference. We had to travel for the Christmas conference. We decided to get off the bus early because it is way closer then where the bus ends. Texted the office Elders to buy us a Uber. Didnt show up, so we decided to walk. I did not know that it was an hour and 40 minute walk.

Thursday: Awesome Christmas conference, really enjoyed it. It was a good mix of fun and worship. You already know mostly all about it. The saddest part about the Conference was that my packages didn't arrive. Now I have to wait till January to recieve them. I went home with a different Elder that night for exchanges. His name is Elder Callister and he is the ZL. Elder Maia went on an exchange with a different Elder in la Falda.

Friday: woke up with Elder Callister doing stuff ZLs do. The day was normal but different at the same time. Work was the same, but hanging out with a Gringo on the streets is way different. We were talking, and playing games. He knew how to juggle which is cool. We threw a bunch of the cards that we had out over people's fences, and whenever we can through there windows. I threw one straight through a window and it landed on their table. We would also throw rocks at signs.

Saturday: We ended our exchanges early in the morning. Because we ended them in Cosquin, we went to fill up the baptismal font for our baptisms that night. We passed by Eziquiel and Bianca later that day to make sure all was in order and they were ready to be baptized. They were, so we met them at the church at 6:30. They said they did not want a lot of people there, but somehow half of the members from the church are there. Bianca is also pregnant, she's been for about 7 and a half months. We dunked them in the waters, and confirmed them. They were happy that after 3 months of teaching they were finally getting baptized.

Sunday: woke up early to catch the train to church. Turned out today wad the primary program. The program was like a circus. Kids running, screaming as loud as they can. Some kids were doing flips in front, one even pulled down his pants and underwear in the middle of the song Gethsemane. After the program we went home and continued with the normal work. Work was felt so long. The reason is because we got transfer plans later that night. All me and my comp could think about,  what was going to happen. Eventually that time came. When it did, we both ate a icecream cake, and found out what was going to happen. Turns out Elder Maia is being moved to a new area called San Francisco which is 6 hours away from Córdoba capital. I am staying in Bialet Massé with a new comp named Elder Miller. All I know is he is un Capo. I get to meet him on Tuesday.

Monday: Last day of work with Maia. We stopped by everybodys house so that Maia could say bye. It was lit because all the people had snacks and soda for us. The best part was Lunch. We had an Asado with our Friend Fernando. He cooked a bunch of meat. He had a cow heart, intestines, tongue, and of course the Beef. I tried them all, and of course the Beef was good. All the other stuff was very mid. I think it was just the texture. They have a super nasty texture. His grilled onions were also lit. He also had the BBQ sauce. I was so happy the BBQ sauve was there. Later That night we were running around getting everything ready for tomorrow morning. I was mostly just cleaning everything, but Maia was packing.

This week had been Lit. I'm starting to get used to this missionary stuff. If you guys want to send an email to me, please do. Tiago.fuller@missionary.org. I love reading them. They fill me with joy. I hope you guys can find ways to celebrate Christ's Birth this Christmas.
