The Power of the Preisthood

Buen día, Hermanos y Hermanas. Esta semana fue excelente. A lot of fun things happened This week. Honestly it went by pretty fast. Everyday goes by faster and faster. I feel like I got here yesterday.
We have a baptism date. We put a baptismal date on our boy Francisco Perez. He is planning on getting baped this week on the 18th. Francisco is an amazing kid. Lets just say it was a little rough at the start. His parents were a bit wild, their life was a mess. Luckily the gospel turned it around. They went from calling us liars and spitting on us, to wanting to get baptized. Sadly the parents can't get baptized yet. They have to stop smoking (stop it, get some help) and they have to get married. I asked them last week if they wanted to get married. They said that even though they been together for 2 years, and have 3 kids, they dont think they are ready. 🤦Literally the biggest facepalm moment in my life🤦. I told them clearly if you don't want to get married you are clearly with the wrong person. I have no clue if they got offended or not. I think I saved it when I started talking about eternal families

Time for the week

Monday: First Pday where I actually got the opportunity to leave and do something. Instead of spending the entire day in the house, we went shopping and played soccer. Holy Moly I'm cracked at soccer, I totally meged someone, and scored the first goal. We went shopping for soccer jerseys as well. I bought myself 2 of them, one from Miami, and the other from the Argentina selection team. The Miami one is by far my favorite. Later that day for work we ran a blitz with the elders of cosquin 2. Our main focus was find and work a-fool. It worked, we found 3 really nice potentials

Tuesday: We be inviting everyone to get baptized over here. Tuesday was pretty normal. At night we put a Fecha on somebody named Romero. We were leaving the Castillos and we found a guy on a motorcycle. I stopped him and literally asked him if he wanted to get baptized. I dropped the question immediately. He kindly said yes and gave us his number so that he can prepare. Sadly he blocked us later that night. No more Fecha for him.

Wednesday: Had intercambios with the ZLs again. This time I was with Elder Jhonson up in La Falda. It was fun working in a different area. There were a bunch if differences, and a lot of similarities. In the afternoon it started pouring on us. Luckily for us, we didn't bring anything for the rain. The storm came out of nowhere. We withstood it and continued normally. Every minute it was getting stronger and faster. It got to the point where it was hailing the size of golf balls. We ran and hid under a roof. We were soaked from head to toe. Sadly I dodnt bring new clothes or G's. I had to sleep in wet G's, not an expirience I would recommend.

Thursday: Had a Juan Pablo moment with a member today. Walked an hour and a 30 minutes to check on a member. Turns out they weren't even there. We did stop at a monument on the way back. It was pretty cool. Later that night we didn't work. My stomach was on the brink of exploding. So I got to lay in bed and sleep.

Friday: Got to sleep in. Stomach was still a little dazzled. I was feeling well enough to work in the afternoon. We left to Franciscos house. Sadly he wasn't there, but his mom Karina was. She told us that her grandma is gonna go with them to church. She then told us the reason was, she saw a change in there family and wanted to check it out. She also handed us a paper from Francisco. He wrote a message for me. It said, I am so blessed you passed by my house, you blessed my family. Never been more happy in my life. Later we stopped by Castillos. I saw an unsolved 3x3 rubix cube on the table. I solved it really fast. There eyes popped out if there head, they were speechless. They asked how, and I said it's the power of the priesthood.

Saturday: card throwing skills were peak today. Only hit the pole 20 times. But I got cards in a few windows. Had a Noche de Hogar at night with the Reyes Ríos. We ate Choripan and talked. They told us that they would have the food ready when we got there. They started cooking it when we got there. Because of that we had to take it to go, back to the pension. We came home late because of it, but the choripan was really good. Turns out I can still jog for a while.

Sunday: Had the most Spiritual expirience ever today. But we will get to that later. Gave a talk in church. It was my farewell talk translated into Spanish. I got a lot of compliments on how good it was. It was about peace. Today we also figured out about Zone conference is on Tuesday this week, 3 days of rest. We also got given lunch by Presidente Rengifo. It was really good.

Spiritual expirience
Like on Sunday I said I had a super Spiritual expirience on Sunday. And it happens to be with the priesthood. We stopped by Natali in the afternoon to check on her. She was diagnosed with cancer about a month ago. She has been in pain everysingle day. Because of it she has no energy to take care if her kids, or work to provide. She wobbled onto the patio with tears in her eyes, and asked for a blessing from us. Happily we said yes and gave one to her. During the blessing, I could feel power and authority, some type of force rushing down my arms onto her head. There happened to be a lot of that force too. After the blessing we went on our way. We decided to stop by later in the night to check on her. She greeted us at the door with the biggest smile on her face. She said thank you Elders, I feel so much better to the point where I can't feel the sickness anymore. My eyes lit up. We couldn't stopped talking about it. That god has the power and I literally have the authority to give a blessing and heal someone.

Don't be scared to email Mr I love reading them and responding to them
I love you all, I also miss you all. Have an amazing week
