Woot Woot 2025!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy new year my Ninjas. Starting 2025 off with a Pday. Any big plans you ask??? Nope. Absolutly nothing. We loving this holiday Mission life. Anyways, how were the partys????
This past week my comp got sick😕. It happened to be with the same exact thing that I had, a while ago. The double headed Dragon strikes again. Glad it wasn't me. It started off with me hearing a lot of loud noises in the bathroom, at 1:30. I went downstairs and saw some strange liquid all over the floor. I turned on the light to get a better view. Turns out it was throwup. ALL OVER THE FETCHING FLOOR. I immediately wanted no part of this mess. I ran back to my room and hopped in my bed. I got the feeling in bed to go check on him to see if he is OK. I dragged myself back out of bed, down the stairs, and parkoured my way to the bathroom door. (Literally jumping from Chair to chair) He was going threw something. It was rough hearing the things I heard. I decided to be a good Samaritan and clean up his mess. I spent the next hour and a half mopping, mopping, and mopping again, till it was All clean. He stayed in the shower for 3 hours. I had no clue that we had that much hit water... Well not anymore!!!. He thanked me for my kind efforts. I did get rewarded with being able to sleep in the next few days.
This week I also had intercambios with Elder Edward's, our ZL in La Falda. This guy is hilarious. He said some things that had my crying on the floor laughing. He said that every ZL and there mom has walked the path we walked. He also asked all of the recent converts we talked to if they knew what the word Rizz meant. They all said they had no clue. His shower singing skills are top notch too. Never heard a man Humm super loudly with a bunch of passion to Minecraft music. Intercambios with him was a blast.
Also had a super Dark and scary expirience this week. One day when we woke up, we got a text from Karina saying she needed to talk to us. Karina and her family are brand new and are super interested. We set up an appointment with her to talk about her questions. When we got there, she ley us in through her front gate into her front yard. When we passed we felt a super wierd presence. Thinking nothing of it we started off normal with a prayer. I offered to say it. When I started talking I spoke the worst Spanish I have ever spoken, ( like recadeo) I ended the prayer and she told us that she didn't go to church last week because, right before she left she heard a voice and got a feeling that everything we were talking about was wrong. And that we are liers. She even used the book of Mormon to tell us our church is wrong. THE BOOK OF MORMON!!!. She read Helaman 13:30-34. Clearly she didn't have the background of the story. The darkness that we felt got so bad we just dipped put of there as fast we could. We sprinted away from her house. There was no spirit whatsoever in that lesson. Just the feeling of the devil.
Anyways let's happily get into my week.
Wednesday: Feliz Navidad witches. Woke up to 3 packages left by Santa (I think Jesus leaves the presents for the Missionarys). I opened all 3 and they consisted of food, food, more food, EVEN MORE FOOD, and deodorant. Can't go wrong with food, and a bit of deodorant. The rest of the day was sleeping, and chatting it up with the fam. I got to talk to literally everybody. Lowkey had 8 hours of calls at the end of the day. What can I say, I love talking. Can't forget the goated Choripan for dinner.
Thursday: woke up this morning to door to door contacts. Woohoo, every missionaries favorite thing to do in the world (mentira). One person we talked to was named Ivana. She started speaking perfect English to us when we pulled up. We had no clue how to contact in English, so we asked her if we can speak Spanish. She said yes, so we contacted her in Spanish. Contacting in English is super wierd. I feel bad for all the English speaking missionaries. We also had a wierd lesson later that night with Fernando. He asked some Jehovah witnesses, for some of there books that they hand out. We read threw them together looking at all the differences. And honestly nothing makes sense.
Friday: Got on a bus at 7:30am to go to LA Falda for intercambios. I spent the whole day up there working with Elder Edward. We worked exactly the same as how we did in Bialet Massé. A lot of door contacts, and failed appointments. He did make these banger cookies that were phenomenal. Ended the night in one of my most favorite places, Grido. Griso is a icecream place that's everywhere. It's like McDonald's in the states. There's one on almost every corner of Córdoba. I bought a 1 liter of icecream, and ate it all that night. Do I regret it, not one bit.
Saturday: Had that super Dark expirience. I was freaked out the rest if the day. Other then that nothing else really happened. Just the normal missionary work.
Monday: Had the clean up expirience. Ladies I know how to cook and clean, so if your looking, hit me up in about 2 years. Other then that horrible expirience, we spent the whole rest of the day sleeping and doing nothing. It really does suck when there is literally nothing to do inside of the house. I literally sat in my chair the whole day. We went to the hospital to see what was up with my comp. They gave him a bunch of meds and told him to rest. That means I get to rest to. So I slept and sat in my chair all day.
Tuesday: My Comp is still sick. He had the energy to get up and go shopping. We didn't have any food in the house, and we just got payed. I bought myself a bunch of food, and a rubix cube. I spent 4 hours memorizing how to solve it. Now I can solve a rubix cube. I can solve it in under a minute 30. Still working on getting faster. I also found a deck of cards lying on the table. Decided to play some solitare. Out of the 30 rounds I played, I did not win a single time. I'm cracked at the rubix cube, but cheeks at solitare. Other then that we celebrated to new year watching the fireworks, that people were launching off. Immediately went to sleep at like 12:15
Very exciting week it had been. Set a few goals last night for the year 2025. Let me give you a few if them.
