Sleepy Times!

Buen Día! How are all of you people? I hope your all doing well. This week was pretty exciting. Had a lot of things happen that made me find a lot of joy in doing this work.

This week we invited everyone to baptism sin miedo (without fear). Because of this we saw the fruits of invitations. We put 7 fechas this week. 6 for the 23rd, and 1 for the 2nd. But sadly everybody is unperfect. Only 3 of the fechas pulled up to church. That means we have to take off all the fechas that didnt go to church. One Fecha named Gabriel, is getting baptized in a river. Sadly he asked my comp to perform the ordinance. That means I don't get to bap in a river.the planning for it goes crazy! We have to scout a spot, find a spot to change, what members want to drive 30 minutes for the baptism. The other 2 are little kids. We get to baptize them on Sunday in a font.

Now for the title, I have been really tired every single day, and I'm trying to find a reason why. I think it's because of, my lack of eating. Your probly thinking " Lack of eating? Tiago is just absolutly in love with food, and his stomach is a never ending pit.". Well your right, but what I mean is I'm not eating breakfast, or dinner. The reason why is, there's not a grocery store remotly close to us. There is no grocery store in our area. There's kioscos, which our shops inside houses that sell food, but it's bad quality of food. For lunch everyday I eat a bunch, almost 4 plates at everybodys house. Also because of that I'm slowly losing a bunch if weight.

My Week

Monday: started the day with a 3 hour nap. It helped a bunch, and I'm going to do it again. We went over to a members house for lunch. We talked for a while, and ate some good food. When we got home, I talked to my family. When we left to go work, It was misting. The light mist was pretty awesome, even though we only worked for 3 hours, I still came home tired.

Tuesday: woke up to a thunderstorm storm, sadly it stopped before we left. Nothing else really happened, we just worked.

Wednesday: Zone conference!!! Lost 30 minutes if sleep to make it to zone conference on time, but I got that sleep back on the bus ride. It was a rainy morning, streets were flooding, people were freaking out. At zone conference, they bought enough breakfast for everyone, I got to eat 6 facturas. Got to reconnect with some MTC friends, I listened to the talks of the president, his wife, and his assistants. Then we ate lunch, I got to eat 12 Empanadas. They were really good. After the good lunch we got to MOSH, we got out baptism goal, which wad 110, we even got cake for it too. Practices came next, then the pack up. They showed this really cool video about our prophet, it's about everything he has done in the church. We also watched another one about the church of Joy.

Thursday: ran intercambios with Elder Quiroga. He was born in Utah, but his whole family is from Córdoba, and they all still live here. The intercambio was very mid. I got to do mostly all the work. He still helped, but in the long run it was always 75% and 25%. We did have some pretty fun times. We bought a crazy ton of sugar. Cookies, snacks, candy, soda. It really helped us get through the day.

Friday: ran intercambios again, this time work the zone leaders. I got Elder Paredes, but we call him Elder walls. He is from Peru, and has 2 weeks left before he goes home. We calmly put 4 fechas, We were cooking. We b9ught cookies in the end, because I love cookies. All we talked about was what he wants to do when he gets home. He said, find a wife, have 8 children, and play as much videogames as he can.

Saturday: We ran a bunch! From house to house. Saturdays are very bust because you pass by every single friend  and member, to make sure they van make it to church. You set alarms, make plans, do some texting and calling. Saturdays are always a rush!

Sunday: called all of our friends to wake then up, stopped by a few of them in person. At the end of church we had 9 news show up, and 6 recent converts. Those are the best numbers this area has seen for a long time. We celebrated by eating lunch at a members house. We planned our week, then did some work.

Spiritual Thought

MATTHEW 10: 37-39
37: He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38:  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39:  He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it

Take up your cross, and follow him. Lose your life in the work of the lord, and you shall find it.

Another week down, it went by really fast, I hope you enjoyed reading it. Peace our my ninjas.
