Transfers

Gooooooood morning my friends! How are you all doing? This week was the longest week in the whole transfer. We have transfers today, and we got the transfer board Sunday night! Here are the results. I am still junior companion, I'm still in Santa Ana, and I have a new comp! My new comp is named Elder Montague, he is a red head Gringo. He is the district leader, and he has 2-3 more months then me.

We had our annual schedule change! What I mean by that is, our whole schedule has changed by 30 minutes. Instead of getting up at 7 in the morning, it's now changed by 30 minutes to 6:30! And instead of going to bed at 11, we go to bed at 10:30. So we basically turning it back to normal missionary schedule. The reason why we have this change, is because of the sun. The sun sets sooner, so we gi home sooner!

Now my week

Monday: ZONE PDAY!!! This pday was freaking lit. Got to spend this pday with the boys (and hermanas) playing sports and eating food! We were told to all be at the church in Alta Gracia at 10. We were the only people who showed up on time... Once 11 hit everybody finally pulled up. We started the day off with soccer and basketball. I have never sweat more in my life. We were all super shiny by the end of it (even the hermanas). Got challenged to a 1v1, absolutly cooked Elder Jackson! We ended the day off with a place called Wonder. It's this really nice burger joint. I got 2 burgers that were called the Americana. Tasted just like America!

Tuesday: Started the day off with our weekly mission call. The whole mission joins a zoom call on Tuesday and we listen to president give us a presentation. At the end of this zoom call he invited us to do a week long English fast! Me with my wonderful brain thought that this would be easy. Turns out I have a Gringo comp, and the way we communicate is English. We tried our best all day to not speak English. We made it threw to the end of the day. For every word we said in English was 10 pushups. I ended up doing 230 pushups in the end! I also used chapter 14 in Preach my gospel to do a contact (Flirt to Convert) it totally worked!

Wednesday: Consejo de Districto. Gheen and I gave a lesson on how we can better contact and not have fear. We totally didn't have anything planned, so we just winged it. Turns out we had the spirit, so we were spitting facts. After we had intercambios, I stayed in Alta Gracia with my boy Elder Quiroga. We stopped by a shell gas station, and found the money load. I finally found gold, THEY HAD M&Ms!!! I totally didnt drop about 30 bucks on them! I was munching on them all week, they were super good! They also had skittles but I only bought a few packs of those.

Thursday: Totally woke up forgetting about the fast, spoke English all day with Elder Gheen, to then get reminded by the hermanas during redimientos that there's a fast. Other then that we just worked.

Friday: stopped by our friend Hector, he has a baptismal date for the 16th! We started teaching him the basics about Jesus Christ. When we got to the part that Jesus is the son of our heavenly father, he told us we were wrong! He said that "Jesus is the son of heavenly father. God was born from the heart of Jesus". We asked him where we learned it from. He told us from the TV. No matter how many times we tried the tell him that heavenly father is the father of Jesus, he turned us down and started yelling. He was 84, so we decided to finish the lesson and get out if there!

Saturday: Rushing around everywhere making plans with all of our friends! The members for some reason didn't seem to help us make plans. We literally have a friend who is not a member, pick up another family who are not members, and go to church! Sadly all that fell to the ground. None of them showed up to church because of sickness. Bought 3 liters if icecream, good thing I didn't sat it all.
(I almost did)

Sunday: went to church! We gave 3 people the priesthood. Day was super long. The reason why Is, the transfer news comes in at night. We happend to be eating dinner with a member when it pulled up. We spent the whole night studying it (it's not wierd, every missionary does it). There were a bunch if wierd changes this transfer. Defenetly the weirdest one.

Monday: Spent almost the whole day inside watching Elder Gheen pack his bags. After that we had an absolute blast passing by members, so that he can say goodbye! We ended the night off at Marianos house. We had a big ol feast, to say goodbye to him. We ended the night off in Alta Gracia, with the other Elders. Apperently we leave from here to the bus terminal because it's a lot closer.

Spiritual Thought

Jhon 10
9. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Because and threw him we can be saved. Without him we wouldn't have the opportunity to live with god and our familys after this life. He will let us fond pasture(joy) in this life!

"Welcome to the church if joy."
