Jenny, An Absolute Unit!

Image
Jenny, Jenny, Jenny, what a trooper! Jenny, is a orange and white Dog that won't stop following us. Its honestly getting annoying, but she made some really funny special memories! Jenny needs attention, she's one of the dogs that if you touch her or even look at her, she will follow you. Her Owner left her on the street, but the neighbors feed her and give her a blanket to sleep on. She's really sad... Till Fuller and Shill come around that house, she goes bonkers! Without being touched, or looked at she starts following us. Every time she follows us, Elder Shill and I get stuck in scheme mode. Instead of our thoughts being focused on Christ, they are focused on how can we trap her or lose her! Sometimes it gets really sad, and we start kicking her, throwing rocks. Anything to portray the message to go home, and leave us alone. But no matter what we do she just runs back to us. Last time she followed us was Friday, and it was pouring rain, with really high cold winds. Whe...

Another week down, this week was really wierd, it was the most normal week I have ever had in my mission. There were a few things that stood out to me.  Giselle Everybody here knows Giselle, even us! You guys probly wanna know Giselle to at this point? She is an inactive member, that we reactivated! She invited all ger friends to learn the gospel and they all have interest. Every contact we did they mentioned Giselle, literally a missionary Member!  40 In church, we've had 25 come each week. Yesterday we hit 40 people in church, we had to set chairs up in the loft. A bunch if friends, inactive members, and all our 12 recent converts came! What a Miracle The Grind Find Everyday we've had to spend the entire day finding new people, we almost knocked every house in this pueblo! We did find a bunch of new people, now we just need to set up a 2nd appointment with all of them. Día De Amigo Yesterday, they celebrated Día De Amigo. It's one of the holidays that everyone looks f...

Rage Monsters

What a crazy week! First and formost the week was pretty long, Thanks to transfers. Whenever transfers comes around we have pday on Tuesday instead of Monday. Transfer news came in Monday night, and it turns out nothing is changing. I'm still in Las Varillas, with my boy Elder Shill! I'm sure you guys have ran into a rage Monster before. I definently know my family has! This week we ran into 2 rage Monsters, the first was an old dude, and the other a single mom.            Old Dude                   - On Saturday, we went to our friend Aldo to do the baptismal interview. We got there tranquilo, called the ZL's and left to sit outside, so they could do the interview in peace. Few minutes passed by, and some car drove up to the front of his house. A grandpa about the age of 68 got out of the car, and started yelling at us "WHY ARE YOU SITTING THERE!" We calmly answered we are missionarys for the church of Je...

What a very exciting week, I'm not going to lie but it went by really fast. We still had all the rejection, but we took it with smiles on our faces!  On pday we invited a bunch of Elders from our district to play some sports. There's a huge rec center in our area full of everything, and lucklt our friend David works there so we don't have to pay. We started off with field hockey, and then went to tennis, and basketball. We did cook a massive Asado, with some soda. Let's just say by the end of it the toilet got clogged... A lot!               We also had zone conference this week, First one with the new president. I really enjoyed it because of the lessons, our president has been an institute teacher for a really long time, so for his lesson he brang out a white board and taught his lesson exactly how a seminary/Institute teacher would do! I overheard this missionary talking and he said "It's exactly like seminary, but this time I actual...
