Rage Monsters

 What a crazy week! First and formost the week was pretty long, Thanks to transfers. Whenever transfers comes around we have pday on Tuesday instead of Monday. Transfer news came in Monday night, and it turns out nothing is changing. I'm still in Las Varillas, with my boy Elder Shill!


I'm sure you guys have ran into a rage Monster before. I definently know my family has! This week we ran into 2 rage Monsters, the first was an old dude, and the other a single mom.
           Old Dude
                  - On Saturday, we went to our friend Aldo to do the baptismal interview. We got there tranquilo, called the ZL's and left to sit outside, so they could do the interview in peace. Few minutes passed by, and some car drove up to the front of his house. A grandpa about the age of 68 got out of the car, and started yelling at us "WHY ARE YOU SITTING THERE!" We calmly answered we are missionarys for the church of Jesuschrist, and we're helping you older brother Aldo. He calmed down and walked in the house. He happened to walk in the house at the worst time of the Interview. The first thing he heard was "Are you willing to pay 10% of your money, and recieve blessings.(The law of Tithing) He left a box and dipped in his car. We started laughing and saying that could have been worse, We'll it was! He pulled a 180 in his car and came back and told us we were scammers, and yelled at us and forced us to leave and take the phone out of the house!
             The Mom
                    - One day we were knocking doors and we found Matias! He invited us in and listened to our message. We talked to his grandma that has 89. We also put a baptismal date on Matias! At the end of the lesson, he said that he was 14. We were absolutely dumbstruck! This kid looks 32, so being smart missionarys we left the house. We scheduled a date when we can pass again, with his Mom. The day came around and we knocked on their door. His mom answered, and started yelling "WHAT ARE YOU DOING PASSING INSIDE OF THE HOUSE WHEN MY MOM AND SON IS HOME ALONE! THAT IS NEVER OK, I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU GUYS ARE FROM, BUT DONT EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!" When she calmed down she let us in and had a super awesome spiritual lesson! They came to church on Sunday and loved it. Yesterday we were walking home and we got a text from her, In all caps and exclamation points. "DONT EVER PASS BY MY HOUSE AGAIN, IF YOU DI YOU WILL BE IN SERIOUS LEGAL TROUBLE, AND MY SON IS BOT GETTING BAPTISED!!" There's was a lot more, but that part was the most interesting. 

By far the best part of the week was Sunday! We got to baptize our friends Aldo and Brisa! They entered the waters of baptism and made their first covenant with god! There was definitely a lot of joy felt that Sunday! We passed by their houses on Monday, and the have changed in a awesome spiritual way!

2 Nephi 21:2
2: And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord

This verse is an awesome description of the Holy Ghost!

Witches, Dark Spirits and Jesus's Girlfriend

  This week was full of surprises! We ran into some witches, dark Spirits, and even the girlfriend of Jesuschrist!  Witches We're teaching this family right now of witches! We passed by with David (overpowered member) to see if these people have interest. During the lesson, David whispered to us that they are a family full of witches! We were a little confused, because David has nevr met this family in his life! We shrugged that phrase off and scheduled another appointment! The next time we passed, she asked us to see her magic broomstick!!! She was also cooking up some stew, that was literally neon green, and smoking! Definently a Witch, David was right. Sleepy Times!

  Buen Día! How are all of you people? I hope your all doing well. This week was pretty exciting. Had a lot of things happen that made me find a lot of joy in doing this work. This week we invited everyone to baptism sin miedo (without fear). Because of this we saw the fruits of invitations. We put 7 fechas this week. 6 for the 23rd, and 1 for the 2nd. But sadly everybody is unperfect. Only 3 of the fechas pulled up to church. That means we have to take off all the fechas that didnt go to church. One Fecha named Gabriel, is getting baptized in a river. Sadly he asked my comp to perform the ordinance. That means I don't get to bap in a river.the planning for it goes crazy! We have to scout a spot, find a spot to change, what members want to drive 30 minutes for the baptism. The other 2 are little kids. We get to baptize them on Sunday in a font.
