It's a Small World After All
Another week down, this week was really wierd, it was the most normal week I have ever had in my mission. There were a few things that stood out to me.
Giselle
Everybody here knows Giselle, even us! You guys probly wanna know Giselle to at this point? She is an inactive member, that we reactivated! She invited all ger friends to learn the gospel and they all have interest. Every contact we did they mentioned Giselle, literally a missionary Member!
40
In church, we've had 25 come each week. Yesterday we hit 40 people in church, we had to set chairs up in the loft. A bunch if friends, inactive members, and all our 12 recent converts came! What a Miracle
The Grind Find
Everyday we've had to spend the entire day finding new people, we almost knocked every house in this pueblo! We did find a bunch of new people, now we just need to set up a 2nd appointment with all of them.
Día De Amigo
Yesterday, they celebrated Día De Amigo. It's one of the holidays that everyone looks forward too. They celebrate it exactly like we celebrate Thanksgiving, all the family and friends with a massive feast, getting drunk, getting lit. They had a bunch of small shops set up in the massive park! One thing a member told us, is if someone offers us chocolate don't accept it. We were confused at first but he then said "if you accept chocolate from someone, you have to give them a kiss!". We avoided all chocolate yesterday. Soon enough a few girls our age tried offering us chocolate. Sadly for them we were prepared, and just told them we are allergic to chocolate. Few, Dodged a bullet there!
Revelations
I've been deep diving revelations un the New Testiment. There is definitely some wired symbolism, luckly with the institute study guide, and I think the gift of prophecy(My big Brain) I understood the chapter that I have read!
Spiritual Thought
2 Nephi 33:9
9 I also have charity for the Gentiles. But behold, for none of these can I hope except they shall be reconciled unto Christ, and enter into the narrow gate, and walk in the strait path which leads to life, and continue in the path until the end of the day of probation.
Have charity, and walk the straight and narrow path!
What did I say, not that interesting.(Except for the Chocolate) If you made it threw this email, I'm surprised, good work. I love you all, I wish ypu the best this week! Here's my Goated missionary email!
Peace out my ninjas
