Cordoba, The Great Race!
How are you all doing this lovely Tuesday morning/Afternoon? This week flew by. I can't believe that time Flys this quick!
Córdoba, the great race!

Everytime I go to Córdoba the Same thing sticks out about the cars. It always feels like I'm in a race when I'm I the Uber. People here speed, they speed bad. It's very rare for a cop or a local guard to pull someone over. There always focused on the more "dangerous" stuff. You could speed in front of one of them and they wouldn't care at all. Another thing really wierd is that more then half the streets don't have any lines to make lanes. The streets are big enough to fit 4 cars. So you are bobbing and weaving through all these cars at full speeds, without cops to regulate the rules! Literally a massive race. Last night in the remi the guy was going 74 mph on state street!

Jenny!!!
Jenny the dog started following us again. We accidently walked by her house, and she saw us. She followed all the way to the church. We showed her so much love the entire way there to make up from a while ago.(Don't worry I repented.) We hopped in the car of Pte Moyano to go pick up our friends. She didn't want to leave us again so she started chasing the car. She made the decision to run in front of Pte Moyanos car, and Moyano could not see her. All of a sudden the car feels a bump, and we hear a dog cry. Turns out Pte Moyano ran over Jenny, and she snapped her leg. But she still got up and followed us, even with a snapped leg and hip! The power if love!

Transfers
We have transfers today. Turns out I'm staying in Las Varillas... with a new comp! His name is Elder Barrientos, and he was born in Columbia, but raised in Yacamah, Washington. He has about 3 transfers left in the mission, so he is ending his mission in Las Varillas. He's about 5'6 and full of energy. So far he is an absolute Goat!
My boy Elder Shill made his way over to LA Falda!

Missionary Work
We have a few people that are progressing really well.
- Elias- He came to church out of the blue. He loved it so much that he wants to come again! We gave him a boom if Mormon, and helped him find gospel music. Hopefully we can pass by him this week and put him on date.
-Tamara - a single mom with 3 kids. She has a lot of pain and anguish weighing on her. She had a few family members die, and all her family and friends blamed it on her. (She didn't do it) Because if it she has bad depression, and wants to kill herself. We had a very spiritual lesson with her inside the church. We helped her feel that she is a loved daughter if God. She was balling hers eyes out after. Sadly this Sunday she didn't go, and we haven't been able to contact her. Hopefully we can find her and continue helping her
-Zulnilda- She a Grandma that wants to learn more about Christ. She is living with her divorced husband, and she wants to get out of the house. Sadly she did not come to church.
-Gisella - Another single mom with 2 kids. We found her in the street walking home from the Kiosco. She told us that she wanted to change her life, and that she would be willing to do anything to get baptized again. She has a date to get baptized with her 2 kids on the 7th of spetember! Sadly she didn't go to church because she was on vacation.

Sprirtual Thought
Mosiah 27:28-29
28: Nevertheless, after wading through much tribulation, repenting nigh unto death, the Lord in mercy hath seen fit to snatch me out of an everlasting burning, and I am born of God.
29: My soul hath been redeemed from the gall of bitterness and bonds of iniquity. I was in the darkest abyss; but now I behold the marvelous light of God. My soul was racked with eternal torment; but I am snatched, and my soul is pained no more.
The redeeming light and joy of Christ through repentence! So powerful knowing we can feel his light and be forgivin for our sins!
