The Snakey Mormons

 What is up my broskis. I hope you are having a fabulous Monday. This week has been full of ups and downs. Some girls tried rizzing us up... Um, yeah. We got some new friends. We also still can't tell people we are from the Mormon church!

 A Snake

For those of you who dont know what a snake is in the mission, I got you. It's a term missionarys uses that means that the girl that is being taught is only being taught because she thinks your cute, not because she actually wants to learn and be baptized. Snakes are a big problem here in Córdoba, every girl tries to rizz up the Gringos, for their greencard, I know because it has happened to me way to many times. Young Teenage Girls always walk up to us and ask us to pass by their house when their home alone. I always tell them I'm from Germany, and then they don't have any interest.

One day we got this reference from Facebook, It was a girl named Gianna Bosio. We texted her thinking she was a mom with a few kids. To make a long story short. Let's just say that she was an 18 year old girl asking me for a greencard.  Don't worry I told her no! Its lowkey very easy to rizz here if your a gringo. Im gonna get humbled when I try to rizz girls back in the states.

My fellow Gingos, be careful out there.

Is this the Mormon church?

We contacted this lady on Sunday morning, her name was Marcela Mercedes. She told us that she suffers from depression. We invited her to the church and told her that she will feel the love of christ, and the spirit at church. She told us she would go and check it out.

Church starts at 4, and she arrived at 3:50. As we were shaking her hand outside she asked us if we are the mormons. We told her yes, but it's only a nickname. But that the real name is the church of Jesuschrist of latter day saints! She walked in and took a seat. While we were getting the other members and converts. She walked out the door and said "Sorry guys... I can't go to this church. I thought it was an evangelist church!" She then instantly turned the corner and left, 5 minutes before church started.

Julieta and Sergio - a couple that we found on Tuesday, it was really hard getting a lesson with them, but when we did we invited them to the church, and they came. Now we need to get them married, and baptized. Turns put that Julieta is family members with an inactive member.

Tatiana - Reference from facebook, she is 16 and has a baptismal date for the 28th of spetember. Luckily she is not a snake and genuinely wants to get closer to her heavenly father.

Joana Lobos - A girl we found on Friday. She was taught because the Elders in a different city, she really loved it, and even had a baptismal date. But right before she got baptized she moved here to Las Varillas. 3 months later, we knocked on her door! There is only one thing that may hold her back from baptism... We think she's Lesbian.
