Light it Up, I'm Gone!

Goodbye Las Varillas, it's been real... Really awesome. First and foremost how are you doing? I hope you find this email interesting. Im trying my best to make them entertaining... and a but spiritual. Sorry for the late email. Pday is on Tuesday instead of Monday.

Transfers------Alta Córdoba
Tranfers is today! Sadly... I am leaving Las Varillas. But I've been called to Alta Córdoba. Alta Córdoba is part of the big city, Córdoba Capital. The craziest part is... it's in the dead center of it. So I finally get to expirience what the Big city is like! Sadly it's nothing like the pueblitos I've been in

Here in La Gran MAC, everybody knows Córdoba Capital as the most dangerous fun time of your life. Out of all the missions in south America, Mission Argentina Córdoba is the most dangerous, It beats every other missions statistics in robberys, and criminal activity. Yes... even more then Buenos Aires. I've heard story's from every missionary who's served in Córdoba capital and they all lead to the same thing. You get robbed... a lot! That's the dangerous factor, one thing that is mentioned in all these story's is guns. People here rob you with guns, guns to the head, guns to the heart, and eventually a 2x4 with a nail sticking out of it.

Sorry if that stuff scared you, I wasn't trying to scare you. That was the least scariest way I could've explained that with details.

Im not scared or nervous going into this area. Im avtually very excited to expirience something completly different then what i'm used to. My comp Elder Barrientos who's spent 18 out of his 21 months in Córdoba Capital explained that one of the most dangerous Villas (Bad Neighborhood ) is in my area, it's called los platanos... The bananas, duh duh DUHHHH. I'm gonna conquer it by the end of my time in that area.

My new comp is a gringo, that is very Haz. He's lit, I've met him at a few zone conferences, and he's a funny guy. He's gonna teach me the ways of the villa!

General Conference / Spiritual Thought
Dang... I love conference in the mission. Every talk, every word, seems to be targeted toward me. I was writing notes like crazy. There were also some amazing talks. They were all really good, I don't have a favorite. Patrick Kieron talking about new beginnings, Elder Oaks about the importance of Family in the plan of God, and Holland giving his testimony of the Book of Mormon.

I realized That this conference everything was centered around The Family. Not only that, but about the Joy and happiness that comes from serving your family and others. 100% applying this now, when I get home, and when I have a family. I also realized that there was a little of talking about the Gifts God gave us, and how we can use those to serve others as well.

I was really bummed when President Oaks didn't announce any new temples. He did have a valid reason though.

Amigos
Sadly I have no clue because I know nothing about my new area.

Thanks everybody for reading my email. Reading this email back through, I realized that this one is a lot more chill then my other ones. I still hoped you enjoyed reading it. As always, you know the deal... Tiago.fuller@missionary.org
