Feeling the Love of God!
How is everybody doing? I hope you are all having a wonderful time! This week was full of sharing the gospel. I also dont have a lot of time so this email will be short.
Valentina
Valentina has dropped again... after the priesthood blessing we gave her ahe started feeling better. She had a smile and she looked like sje was filled with life! Just last night we got told that she was happy, then she got depressed again, but into an even darkest place. We were told that she has started fat shamming herself, and because of it she refused eat, she also gags herself on an Empty stomach to throw up to lose her weight. And because of this she wants to take her life again
We keep inviting her to partake of the sacrament. Trying to help her get to church... but she's never feels up to go to the church. We also just got word that she refused to go home last night after a mate in the park. She apprently slept outside alone. We have reason that this body shaming is coming from social media.
We are slowly helping her come back to the light, step by step. Please put her in her prayers.
Please use social media to lifetime others not tear them down!!
Marta
On the other hand, we have Marta! We found her from a reference that she sent from facebook. She's in her 70's, and she went to church last sunday!!
Marta has a sus cousin, based off what she has told us, her cousin is a witch and loves the dark arts. She also told us she brings wierd little items to her house everyday and hides them in places that she can't find. In the end she mentioned that there is a evil feeling inside this house, and that when we are here that feeling leaves!
Based off those facts, we did a search of the house to try to find anything sus. Everything looked clean until we looked in her extra bedroom. The feeling defenetly changed... it felt like there was something dark in the room. We carefully examined everything and found a voodoo doll underneath the bed. Marta had no clue what it was and so she gave us permission to burn it. We burnt it in her driveway.
Back to the church... she loved it so much. She said the best part of the entire thing was the feeling she felt when she partoke of the sacrament. She told us it was the first time she has ever felt this warmth, this love. Like someone was hugging her!
Martiniano
I got the opportunity to give a tour of the temple grounds for our friend Martiniano. Martiniano has a baptismal date for next week, the 30th of November! His mom is a recent convert and had her first temple trip planned. Martiniano wanted to go and invited us so that we can sit with him while she is doing baptisms for the dead.
It definently sealed the deal on his baptism. He loved it soooo much, he wanted to enter and do everything inside. We asked him what was his favorite part. He told us that it was the overwhelming peace and love that he felt the entire time. We testified about the spirit, who helps us feel that love and that we recieve the gift of the spirit after baptism. He is really excited for his baptism!

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
