I'm Blinded by the Lights!

 We made it to the end of the tunnel!!! I realized that the work this week has gotten easier. It was a very fun and exciting week!




Ingrown toenail
This week I got an ingrown toenail taken out. It really was not an enjoyable process. Here when you get an ingrown toenail they just rip the bad boy off without even numbing it. It was probly about a minute and a half of straight pain! Then there was no pain at all. My toe feels 10 times better!



The Amigos 
We have some friends progressing towards baptism we have

ALBERTO: He's a goat. We found him like 2 weeks ago. He gave us a wrong address and we couldnt find his house. Luckily we ran into him again and this time he gave us the correct address! He wants to get baptized, but couldn't go to church this past week because of a nephew in the hospital.

He has already gone to church once and he didn't really feel like it was the place for him. Now he's wants to go back to see if anything is different.

Micaela: We saw her walking in the street and couldn't tell if she was above or below the age of 18... but we contacted her anyways. Turns out she is a single mom with 3 kids. One with 10, 7, and 4. Did not expect that at all.

She said she broke up with her significant other 2 weeks ago and is needing guidance on how to do things. She also told us that she is looking for peace and joy in her life.



Elder Walker
My companion is an absolute Goat! We get along really well. The funniest part about us is that everybody thinks we are brothers... and it's also funny how we tower over everybody! Elder Walker has the same amount of time as me in the mission.

MAGGOTS!!!!

  What is up fam, How's your life going? Not very many interesting things happened This week, So I'm going to try my best to keep this one interesting! First things first, OUR FRIEND VERONICA ENTERED THE WATERS OF BAPTISM!!! Veronica is the mom of the 2 kids that got baptized last week! The water was really cold, like glacier cold! Straight ice bath if you know what I mean! She hopped in the water with no reaction. She came out if the water super happy! We passed by her house later that day, to see how she felt and how the expirience was. She told us that the water felt like a hot tub, That it was really warm! I was freezing, every member stuck their hand in and thought it was freezing! Definently a cool expirience. Now for the title of the email. Woke up Wednesday morning to....... A BUNCH OF MAGGOTS!!! Merry Christmas Yall

Feliz navidad my ninjas. This email will be a bit longer then the others because I didn't have a Pday on Monday. This week was very different from all my others. Not the work, but the companion. First was Transfers. Transfers took place Tuesday of last week. Sadly Elder Maia had to go to another city called San Francisco. I got myself a Gringo. He is named Elder Miller. Even though he is technically my step-dad I am still a foot taller then him, And im 6'6. He was born in Utah but moved to Wisconsin, and has lived there his whole life. He said his favorite thing to do is watch sports, and listen to music. We have had some banger moments together. Another fun thing that happened this week is the Christmas ward party. They call it, La Cena De Navidad. Elder Miller and I arrived early to help set up. Apparently they had set up a nativity presentation for the members and friends that were there.
