The Light at the End of the Tunnel

This week has probly been one of my hardest weeks spiritually. This entire week was just full of trails, and spiritual tiredness.

The Tunnel
This week was like a super long tunnel. Its started light, but as I continued into the tunnel it got darker. Its hard walking in the dark. You're constantly walking into rocks, walls, maybe even some night creatures that can see in the dark. Until you see a light at the end, and everything starts getting lighter. This tunnel example is a prime way to explain how I felt this week. I am currently walking towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

The darkness I talk about is... not having success, no new people to teach, members going inactive, members complaining to us about other members, just to name a few. All of this put a huge weight on pur shoulders, it felt like we were holding up the entire Ward. Because we don't have a Bishop, everybody comes to us to tell their things, and ask for help. At one point we couldn't even get out of bed.(Don't worry we got out anyways)

We really had to learn how to walk in faith, and be guided by the Holy Spirit.

We started seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when we went to church. We didnt have any friends, or any converts. We saw it in the members, we finally had weekly coordination meeting. Seeing this was the best thing I have seen the entire week. We finally started receiving support from the members. From there the light gets brighter, we start finding more Friends, and baptized!

This spiritual tiredness did not come from my comp, I still had a ton of fun during the week

Transfers
Tranfers have come around, so that's why I'm sending this on Tuesday. Sadly my Old comp Elder Carter is going home. His mom has cancer, and she asked him to come home because the cancer is getting worse. So I will automatically be getting a new comp.

My new comp is named Elder Walker from Arizona! He's got one more transfer then me. Im still Zone leader here in Villa Nueva.

Spiritual Thought
2 Nephi 26:11
11: For the Spirit of the Lord will not always strive with man. And when the Spirit ceaseth to strive with man then cometh speedy destruction, and this grieveth my soul.

Thanks for reading my email, it was more on the spiritual side this week.
