Whats Up Brother ??? I hope you are all well. We had a lot of success this week. Zone conference   We had zone conference on Tuesday. This was probly one of the wierdest zone conferences I have ever been to, but it was really fun. Instead of 4 zones at confernece. president wanted 2, So we had it inside the mission home instead of the church. The other zone we went with happened to have my boy Elder Newell in it. So we got to talk, and catch up a little bit. President's message was focused on the spirit. He also focused heavily on music, like the type of music we listen too. He told us we can listen to any music we want, if we listen to it legally, and if we can feel the spirit.  The best part of the conference was that he let us go and walk the temple grounds. It was a great expirience walking around the grounds. Temples are 100% houses of our Lord. I think it was the first time in a year that I have seen normal grass, It was soooo green.  Carlito   This week ...

"Well...There Goes the Light!"

How are we doing this fine morning/evening? How was your week? I hope everything turned out ok, or went the way you wanted it to. This week was kinda crazy, but in a wierd way. Google Photos Join up https://photos.app.goo.gl/ V4GB5RbCZk2ySEq2A The homeless man This week we found a man named Hector. We found him knocking on doors. It was awesome because he came up to us and started talking to us. He asked us if we were the people that had miniature baptism cards. "Yes!" We said, he then mentioned that he found it on the ground while he was walking, and when he picked it up he found a job 10 minutes after! We were stoked and getting absolutely hyped. We invited him to baptism right then, and he accepted a date for this 21st. All thanks to us repeatedly chucking cards, because it's fun!     We then figure out that he is homeless. That he doesn't live in one spot, that he lives all over Las Varillas. The worst part is, he doesn't even have a phone. We spent the enti...

The Snakey Mormons

Image
What is up my broskis. I hope you are having a fabulous Monday. This week has been full of ups and downs. Some girls tried rizzing us up... Um, yeah. We got some new friends. We also still can't tell people we are from the Mormon church!  A Snake For those of you who dont know what a snake is in the mission, I got you. It's a term missionarys uses that means that the girl that is being taught is only being taught because she thinks your cute, not because she actually wants to learn and be baptized. Snakes are a big problem here in Córdoba, every girl tries to rizz up the Gringos, for their greencard, I know because it has happened to me way to many times. Young Teenage Girls always walk up to us and ask us to pass by their house when their home alone. I always tell them I'm from Germany, and then they don't have any interest. One day we got this reference from Facebook, It was a girl named Gianna Bosio. We texted her thinking she was a mom with a few kids. To make a lo...

Cordoba, The Great Race!

Image
How are you all doing this lovely Tuesday morning/Afternoon? This week flew by. I can't believe that time Flys this quick! Córdoba, the great race! Everytime I go to Córdoba the Same thing sticks out about the cars. It always feels like I'm in a race when I'm I the Uber. People here speed, they speed bad. It's very rare for a cop or a local guard to pull someone over. There always focused on the more "dangerous" stuff. You could speed in front of one of them and they wouldn't care at all. Another thing really wierd is that more then half the streets don't have any lines to make lanes. The streets are big enough to fit 4 cars. So you are bobbing and weaving through all these cars at full speeds, without cops to regulate the rules! Literally a massive race. Last night in the remi the guy was going 74 mph on state street! Jenny!!! Jenny the dog started following us again. We accidently walked by her house, and she saw us. She followed all the way to the...

How is everyone doing? What's good over there in your neighborhood! I hope you did something enjoyable! This week was 100% different from the week before, and it's not in a bad way. All thanks to my companion, Elder Barrientos. Elder Barrientos How do I explain my comp... Just picture my best friend The baked bean (Matthew Bernal)before his mission, but just short. For others who don't know who the GOAT, the Baked Bean is, it's ok. Instead of explaining him like the Baked Bean, I will explain him differently. He is super Haz, super funny, always quoting memes, and always looking for a good time.        He has about 3 months left in the mission, so he is a little trunky, but im keeping him in check!    The reason why it is all super different is because he is from the city, And im from the farm. He has spent his entire mission in Córdoba capital. I have spent my entire mission in pueblitos outside of Córdoba Capital. Which working in the 2 are complet...
